How does a distant healing, Reiki, session work?

One of the things I love most about practicing an energy healing modality, such as Reiki, and understanding how energy works, is that Reiki clients do not have to be present in a shared space with me during a session.  Reiki can be shared remotely, in the convenience of your home because it is not a “hands-on approach”,  and because energy is not limited to distance or physical limitations.

A distant healing session especially works, extremely well, with animals, who may already be experiencing anxiety,  to feel safe, supported, and secure, in their own living space. Reiki works because we are all made of energy, come from the same original energy source whether human or animal,  so we are all connected,  and part of a larger whole.
